As a leader, Reverend Dr. Orville Harris is a husband, father, entrepreneur, teacher, counselor and pastor of  Cornerstone Christian Educational Ministries. Rev. Dr. Harris has been the spiritual leader of CCEM for over 10 years. He started his service in ministry as a Deacon and in 2010 was appointed Minister before transitioning in 2015 to the Pastor. In 2016 he was ordained Dr. Orville Harris.

Rev. Dr. Harris started his secular career with NYSKYRIDE in 1996 and moved his way up the corporate ladder and became the youngest Afriacan American executive as Director of Operations. In obedience to the voice of God, after 18 years of service Rev. Dr. Harris decided to go into full time ministry.

Rev. Dr. Harris is a strong believer in teaching and not preaching.  He has a strong passion for knowledge and will always encourage those around him to read as many books as possible.  He is always encouraging others not to just read the word of God but to seek to understand.

 Rev. Dr. Harris is a native of Jamaica, West Indies. He migrated to the US in 1993.  Being the first of four children Pastor Harris has always had an innate aptitude to be a leader.

Rev. Dr. Harris is known for his practical and active teaching style. Being an effective communicator of God’s word, the timeless truths that he teaches through scripture has influenced so many people in their everyday lives. With such a great calling to fulfill, he still finds the time to counsel, teach bible study and study God’s word.

Rev. Dr. Harris is a strong believer in building God’s kingdom one family at a time. His deep love for God and family was inherited from a young age through the teachings of his God-fearing mother, the late Missionary Angela Harris. Missionary Angela Harris was a prayer warrior who interceded for many near and far. Missionary Harris’ love for God was evident in how she lived her life. In October of 2016 she went to be with the Lord.

Rev. Dr.  Harris has been happily married for over 20 years to his high school sweetheart, Lindy Emery-Harris. Together they are the proud parents of two amazing children, Lexis and Lorenz Harris.
