You Are Chosen                                                                               

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Life is a journey where you go through valleys then walk up hills, deserts and havens, mountains and plains. You might sometimes ask yourself, “Why is it so? Why are things turning out this way? Do I belong here? Maybe no one cares about me or my situation. Is this all in vain, or is my life an accident?” Today’s verse reminds us that we are chosen. You are chosen by God. Your, your talents, your birth was Gods divine planning. God thought about you before He created the universe.

You have been redeemed for the purpose of being God’s priests in the midst of a needy world. The Christian Church, every Christian believer, is to be a royal priesthood. We are set apart for God’s work. We live for God and for others. You were chosen for a special role here on earth. You have a great future ahead with Jesus!
