Wonderfully made
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
On those difficult days when we may be struggling to make sense of these current circumstances we find ourselves in, perhaps we need to forcefully dismiss those thoughts of gloom and think more of how God sees us. God’s Word tells us that God, our Heavenly Father, sees us so differently from how we see ourselves. He loves us and cares for us just as we are, and in the same way as He sees the butterfly within the little caterpillar, He sees the blooms in the fall trees, He something of real beauty, worth, purpose and potential in each of us.
Be encouraged this morning and see yourself for who God says you are. From the moment we accept Jesus as Savior, a transforming work begins, and it will continue until the day we meet Jesus face to face. As we reach out to Him and make up our minds to walk in obedience to His word, allow His Spirit to direct us, draw closer to Him and enter more fully into a personal relationship with Him, we shall gradually be changed into His likeness.
