When It Looks Like It’s Over, God Makes a Way
As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the Lord. Exodus 14:10
In moments of fear, frustration, and overwhelming pressure, the words from “You Made a Way” by Travis Greene speak directly to our hearts. Thinking back to yesterday’s account of the Children of Israel at the Red Sea and the lyrics to this song we are reminded that God is always with us. The lyrics remind us that even when things seem impossible, when the road ahead looks blocked, and when the situation feels hopeless, God is able to make a way. The song echoes the truth seen in the story of the Israelites at the Red Sea.
Today, be reminded of this truth – God can make a way. Just as God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, He is still in the business of making a way for His children. When we reach the end of our resources, when the obstacles seem insurmountable, God is able to create opportunities, open doors, and provide solutions we could never have imagined.
As God makes a way for you, don’t forget to praise Him for His faithfulness. Just as the Israelites sang praises after crossing the Red Sea, let your heart overflow with gratitude for the ways God has made a way in your life.
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, I thank You for aways being there for me. Bailing me out of the most difficult of situations and reminding me that I am loved. Help me to always see Your hand at work even when my back is against the wall. I trust You Lord. Amen.
