Ultimate Assurance
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20
As we step into a new year, many of us feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty. We make plans, set goals, and prepare for what lies ahead. But what about the uncertainties that can’t be covered by a policy? What about the trials we didn’t see coming or the losses that no amount of earthly preparation can prevent? That’s where the promises of God become our ultimate assurance. This is the ultimate assurance!
Genesis 50:20 reminds us of Joseph’s story—a journey marked by betrayal, injustice, and suffering. Yet, through it all, God was at work. What others intended for harm, God used for good—not only for Joseph’s life but for the saving of many others.
This verse serves as a powerful reminder as we enter 2025. God’s plan for our lives isn’t dependent on perfect circumstances. Even when challenges arise, He can redeem every situation for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28 reinforces this truth: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
As you face 2025, remember that your future is not uncertain to God. Entrust your plans, dreams, and worries to Him. Reflect on Joseph’s story and be encouraged that even what seems like a setback can be transformed into a setup for God’s greater purpose.
Call to Action:
Write down one area of your life where you want to experience God’s renewal in the new year. Commit it to prayer and trust Him to bring transformation. Share this commitment with someone who can support you in prayer and encouragement.
Prayer for today: Father, as I step into this new year, I place my trust in You. 2025 is my year of PEACE, and I claim it in Your name🙏. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for working all things for my good. Help me to face each day with courage, knowing that no matter what comes my way, I am covered by Your promises. Let my faith grow deeper, and may my life be a testimony of Your grace and provision. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
