The Unlikely Choice, Part III
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. 1 Corinthians 1:27
Before Ehud delivered Israel, before David defeated Goliath, before Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams, before Gideon claimed victory with just 300 soldiers—they were being prepared in the shadows. Don’t despise small or hidden seasons. What you learn in the pasture or prison prepares you for the palace. God often develops greatness in secret.
Do not despise your small beginnings. Yes there are times when we don’t get things right and that’s okay. Your today is not your tomorrow. God has plans for your life, if you only surrender them to Him. God will have the final say.
Prayer for today: Lord, help me be faithful in the quiet places. Let me trust that nothing is wasted in Your hands—even the things no one sees. Amen
