The Peace of Christ

The Peace of Christ
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7
Jesus offers a peace that is unlike any peace the world can offer. The world’s peace is often dependent on circumstances, but the peace of Christ is a gift that transcends circumstances. In John 14:27, Jesus speaks to His disciples, assuring them that His peace will calm their troubled hearts, no matter what they face.
The idea of surrendering control can feel terrifying. We want to rely on the things we know, the things we can manage. But God calls us to release control and trust in His wisdom, which is far greater than our own. When life feels chaotic, remember that Jesus has given you His peace. This peace isn’t based on external factors, but on the assurance that He is with you and in control. Rest in the peace that only He can give.
Prayer for today: Jesus, thank You for the peace You give. Help me to rest in Your presence and not be troubled by the circumstances around me. Fill me with Your peace today. Amen.
