Strength for the Battle
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10
Ephesians 6:10 begins with a powerful command: “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” This verse sets the tone for the rest of the passage, reminding us that the strength we need to face life’s challenges does not come from ourselves but from God.
Often, we attempt to navigate the difficulties of life relying on our own power, but God calls us to tap into His unlimited strength. No matter what trials we face, His power is greater. Today, reflect on where you might be leaning on your own strength instead of relying on God’s power. Take time to ask for His strength in the specific areas of your life where you feel weak. Remember, His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Today, spend time acknowledging areas of weakness or fatigue. Invite God’s power into those spaces, asking Him to renew your strength.
Prayer for today: Lord, teach me to rely on Your strength. When I feel weak, remind me that in You, I can be strong. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
