Start With Your Source
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
We all need sources in our lives that we can depend on. A source is a supplier of something that we cannot produce on our own. The very first verse of the Bible says ‘In the beginning God created….’ before we get into any of the stories or recall any of its facts, God wants us to know that He has the starting role. He is our Source. Everything that you are, or anything that you can ever imagine yourself being is found in God. If you hold onto this truth, no matter what may happen in life, your joy and happiness are found in God.
The truth? God is your Source—the perfect and on-time Source for everything you could ever need or want. When we remember where we come from, then everything that happens in life is put into its proper perspective. Throughout the Bible, God shows us He is a provider. He tells us not to worry because He knows all our needs.
“Everything comes from God; everything exists by his power; and everything is intended for his glory.” – Romans 11:36.
May we not find it hard to trust God when it comes to our life. We should recognize God as our Source (of all things) and see everything else as a resource provided by Him. Learn to live with open hands trusting that God has a plan.
