Star Song
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
In Scripture, we are reminded that during the time of creation, the morning stars resounded in harmonious song. Psalm 19:1-2 beautifully expresses this truth: ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech.’ Through His magnificent creation, God’s glory is proclaimed. It is as if the stars and angels, under His masterful guidance, united in a symphony of pure joy. This imagery paints a captivating picture of the breathtaking spectacle that unfolded as God spoke the world into existence. You too are a part of God’s beautiful creation. Each of us was uniquely created with our own set of likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, talents and abilities. Not one of us has the same finger print and DNA structure. That’s why this story is yours.
You’re a precious, one-of-a-kind, original masterpiece. In a symphony orchestra there are a number of different instruments, with each one making a different and unique sound. The music is written and planned with different tones and beats and purpose, and it needs different instruments for it to truly come to its fullness!
Allow your life’s song to sound its unique beauty. Sing your song that was lovingly and joyfully created by YOU! Let your unique life-song sing to Him. He delights in you!
