Stand Strong
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. I Peter 5:10
How are you feeling today? I am sure if each of you would answer the response received could take up an entire page. It’s the truth many of us are struggling with life, seeing no way out, and there is a never-ending path of struggles and suffering. But, there is some good which has come from these challenging times, it is reported that most people have become more open about these issues now. On the news there are more and more stories about mental health and domestic violence. It’s coming out more into the open, and no longer afraid to ask for help.
Deuteronomy 31:6 comes to mind, ‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you’. God was reassuring His people through Moses. He told them that He was with them. He would not leave them or forsake them, and they were not to be afraid. This applies to us today. No matter what we may go through, God is with us, giving us strength.
