Merry Christmas    

I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. Luke 2:10

Joy to the world is our Christmas carol for Christmas Day.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come

Let earth receive her King!

Let every heart prepare Him room

And heaven and nature sing

And heaven and nature sing

And heaven, and heaven and nature sing

Joy came to the world because God our great Creator loved His creation so much that He sent His Son to reveal His story, and so that over time, His character and ultimate good will toward mankind would be recognized. The impact on earth of Christ’s birth will never diminish despite enemies’ attempts to stop it.

This day is not about you or your food or what gifts you will receive – as important as they are. It’s about the Prince of Peace. It’s the day we commemorate the event that changed the history of the world, that provided salvation for the human race, and that brought indescribable peace into our hearts.

Today we celebrate the Son of God, Mary’s boy, the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, the Son of David who brings joy to us all. He is our Prince of Peace.
