Jehovah Helped Me

I was falling, but Jehovah helped me. Psalm 118:13

We’ve all had moments when we felt like we were falling — when life was slipping beyond our control and we had no answers left. The psalmist captures this beautifully in Psalm 118:13: “I was falling, but Jehovah helped me.” And if we’re honest, we can all relate.

There are seasons when we come to the end of ourselves — when our strength fails, when solutions run dry, and the only thing left to do is trust God. And it’s in those moments that we discover again the faithfulness of our Father. “But the Lord helped me…” And not only did He help, but “the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!” (Psalm 118:15).

Looking back over my life, there are so many instances where God stepped in when I had no power to change the situation. As I reflect, I can’t help but pause and acknowledge His undeniable presence and grace. I am a living testimony that it was Jehovah who kept me from falling.

Prayer for today: Loving Father, my heart overflows with praise for who You are. Thank You for every moment You have helped me when I was falling. Amen
