Hold onto His Faithfulness
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7
It’s a natural process for writings to fade over time. This happens because of the nature of the ink and the exposure to the elements, which causes oxidation. Similarly, in life, there are moments when our trust in God may waver, but His faithfulness remains unshaken. His promises are true, and He will always come through for us, even when our faith feels weak.
The final result of trusting God is peace. When we place our trust in Him, we experience a peace that transcends our understanding, guarding our hearts and minds. Trusting in God doesn’t eliminate the battles, but it does give us the strength and peace to face them. Peace is not the absence of problems, but the presence of God in the midst of them.
Trusting God means believing in His unchanging character, especially in times when doubt creeps in. He is steadfast, and He will never fail us. Reflect today on the times when God’s faithfulness has been evident, even when you didn’t deserve it. Let that reminder strengthen your trust in Him.
Prayer for today: God, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Even when my faith falters, You remain true. Help me to always remember this – even when my faith falters, You remain unwavering. Help me to trust in Your promises today, knowing that You will never leave me or forsake me. Amen.
