His Voice
For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. Luke 12:12, NKJV
One of the greatest fears we carry in sharing our faith is this:
What if I don’t know what to say?
But Jesus already answered that concern. In today’s verse He gives us a promise, it says “in that very hour” the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say. You are not called to have all the right words prepared at all times. You are called to be available and attentive.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just give us power He gives us guidance. He nudges. He prompts. He brings words to mind in the moment they’re needed.
Sometimes He leads you to speak.
Sometimes He leads you to listen.
Sometimes He gives you boldness.
Sometimes He gives you restraint.
Faithfulness isn’t about saying everything it’s about saying what He is saying. So today, lean in. Before conversations, during them, even after invite the Holy Spirit to guide your words. You might be surprised how often He speaks when you’re willing to listen.
Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, teach me to hear Your voice. Help me to trust You with my words. Give me boldness when I need to speak and wisdom when I need to be still. Let my words reflect Your heart. Amen.
