God Prompts Us to Action, Part II
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:22
When God prompts us, it can sometimes be overwhelming or confusing. We may not understand what He is asking us to do, or we may be unsure of how to follow through. In these moments, trust is key. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, ““Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
God asks us to rely not on our limited understanding but on His wisdom. When He calls us to act, He will provide the strength, resources, and guidance we need. Our job is to trust and obey.
Today, consider your actions. Are you trusting God with the areas of your life where He is calling you to act?
Prayer for today: Lord, help me to trust You fully with the plans You have for me. Give me faith to step forward in obedience, even when I don’t see the full picture. Amen.
