Delivering Promise

Delivering Promise
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Psalm 91:14
God has promised to deliver those who love Him. A promise of deliverance is the first of the seven promises made to the one who loves God. And we can make this promise personal! For instance, I quote it like this: “Because I love You, Lord, I thank You that You have promised to deliver me from (__________________).” Never underestimate the power of speaking God’s promises directly over your lives.
Remember, God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above ALL that we can ask for even think – Ephesians 3:20. Therefore believe that He can deliver you from:
- Lion problems (big things; life-threatening attacks)
- Young lion problems (small snags; constant harassment)
- Cobra problems (the unexpected; sneaky attacks which seem to come out of nowhere)
- Dragon problems (the unimagined; imaginary fears, past fears, vain imaginations)
- Terror by night (the very present; evils that come through man—war, terror, violence)
- Arrows that fly by day (an assault from the devil; the enemy assignments sent to wound)
- Pestilence (epidemics, deadly diseases)
- Destruction (evils over which man has no control)
In other words, God wants to deliver us from every evil known to mankind. What a promise! I thank God that He is the God of deliverance.
Prayer for today: Lord, thank You for being my Deliverer. You are my refigure and my strength, a solid foundation always. Thank You and for providing a means of escape from all the threats of violence and harassment, the sneaky problems and evil schemes of the enemy. I am so grateful for Your Word and the authority You have given to me as a believer. Today I pray Your Words written in Psalm 91 over my life and ask that You will give me the strength needed to see through this season. In the name of Jesus. Amen
