Celebrate The Promise
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14
Today’s verse evokes a sound of praise ‘Glory to God in the highest’ and when we give the praise what happens in return is ‘peace on earth’. In reading the words of this verse we are celebrating The Promise that was born in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes. His name is Jesus. Prince of Peace and Savior of this world. His birth was simple and man came from far to worship Him. God sent His son so that we could have peace on earth once again. The birth of Jesus Christ brings hope to all mankind. Jews and Gentiles alike. He brings peace and hope to all corners of this world.
Today Jesus remains a true and living hope. Our hope in Him is solid and it’s real. Hope is a powerful force in our lives and Christmas brings hope. The birth of our Savior offers hope and gives the believer something to believe in. Christmas is also for those who have been longing for a Savior.
