Celebrate Answered Prayers
When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. Luke 1:12-13

Do you believe that God really answers our prayers? I am a living testimony that He does! Luke 1 records the account of Zechariah’s answered prayer. God heard the cries of Zechariah and sent them angel to bring forth the news. The good news is that God still hears and answers prayers.
And although Zechariah waited a long time ago, his story is extremely powerful in preparing the way for something big that was coming – Christ Jesus.
I’m sure you’ve probably felt this way before. Anyone who’s been walking with the Lord for any amount of time, has! We want answers when we pray! And it’s frustrating when it seems like God is silent.
If you’ve ever felt this way, or maybe you feel this way today — I have a word of encouragement for you. Keep praying. God does answer prayer!
Prayer for today: Father, we are thankful that when we call on You, You are there to help us carry the load. Thank you for hearing and answering prayers. Amen.
