A Perfect Record: God’s Faithfulness
O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago. Isaiah 25:1
Today’s verse focuses on the concept of God’s unwavering ability, reminding us that He is fully capable of fulfilling every promise He has made. God is too faithful to fail. You are not going to break God’s perfect record of faithfulness, for He will never fail.
Throughout Scripture, there are countless stories of God coming through for His people: Abraham and Sarah, who waited on God’s promise of a child; Hannah, who prayed for a son in her barrenness; Joseph, who faced trials that seemed never-ending, but was eventually elevated from the pit; Daniel who was thrown into the lion’s den for refusing to worship anyone but God, yet God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths and protect him; and The Apostle Paul, who endured many trials, including shipwrecks and imprisonment, but God was always faithful, providing protection, strength, and a way to continue the mission. These stories remind us that God is a delivering God. Hold onto that truth today: God never fails. Do not lose faith in Him!
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, I praise Your name today. Thank You for reminding us in Your Word that You have been and will always be faithful. I hold onto this truth today. Trusting that You know best. Amen.
