A New Heart: The Power of Transformation
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 36:26
In Ezekiel’s prophecy, we see that when God calls us out of this world of sin, He takes away our heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh. He places a new spirit within us—one that will be a living testimony of His work in our lives.
Today, God is calling us to remove the masks we hide behind and be renewed. Transformation starts on the inside. If we desire outward change, we must first allow God to transform our hearts and minds. We must be willing to change, allowing God to work in us. If we refuse to change our mind, God cannot use us to the fullness of His plan.
Prayer for today: Dear God, I believe in Your ability to transform my life and make all things new. I am grateful for the strength, renewal, peace and insight that You have in store for me. I trust that You are with me, as in Your word there is the promise that You will neither leave nor forsake us, therefore I choose to hold onto this truth as I live out Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
