A New Beginning

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

We have all been there before, making plans and not following through. Similarly, we make resolutions and quickly fall back into the old routine. The good news is that each year presents you with an opportunity to start back over. But then so is each week. Why wait for a week, every day. Each morning you wake up you have the chance to make a fresh start! Every day is an opportunity for a new beginning.

Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created”. But notice what isn’t included, it wasn’t at the beginning of the year. No place is mentioned when in a calendar cycle it was done, it was started. Likewise, we too have the opportunity to get up and start something today. We are now six days into the New Year, what can you get started or restarted today?

Each day is a new beginning and new opportunities to get it right.
