A Blessing of Peace and Grace
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. Numbers 6:26
Numbers 6 verses 24 to 26 are verses that are often called the priestly blessing and it’s a beautiful blessing given by Aaron the first high priest for the children of God —a blessing that echoes through the corridors of time to touch our lives today. It’s a reminder that words matter and these are words that God wanted to be spoken over his children. Imagine the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, showering His blessings upon you. His blessings are not mere temporal gifts but words which encompass the richness of His love, guidance, and provision.
Today I invite you to think about these words and allow these words to fill your heart.
Numbers 6:24-26
24 ‘May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
25 May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
26 May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace.’’
This is what God wants you to hear today. May the favor of the Lord be on you today and may He keep you as you go about your day today may He guard and protect you may the Lord shine his face upon you. Picture the warmth of the sun’s rays breaking through the clouds on a cloudy day. In the same way, may the radiant face of God illuminate your path. His countenance signifies His pleasure, delight, and approval. May His light guide you, bringing clarity, joy, and purpose to your journey.
Prayer for today: Thank you Lord for blessing me and keeping me in Your bosom. I do not deserve Your favor or kindness, yet these are the gifts you give to those who love you. Thank You for looking upon me with compassion and love. Thank You for your peace. I choose today to walk this road with You. Amen.
