A Better Perspective
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
In our moments of weakness, we are invited to draw near to God, trusting in His grace to strengthen and empower us. As we draw near to God, there are things we ought to pray for on a daily basis, one of which is wisdom. We seek God asking for wisdom so that the enemy does not try to confuse us, trapping us into his lies about the season we are in. When we pray we will understand that it is in our weakness that God’s power is made perfect, as His grace enables us to persevere and overcome.
Let us take heart in the knowledge that God is at work in the midst of our adversity, using our trials to refine and strengthen us for His purposes. Though we may face hardships in this life, we can trust that God’s grace is more than sufficient to sustain us through every trial and tribulation.
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, grant us the grace to maintain an eternal perspective in the midst of life’s trials. Renew our hearts and minds day by day, that we may find strength and hope in Your eternal promises. Help us to trust in Your unfailing love, knowing that You are working all things together for our good. Amen.
