Praise God
Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Psalm 150:2
Do you know that your praise can bring you into the presence of God? No matter what you might be facing today praise changes the atmosphere and taps into the spiritual realm. Praise is to be expressed by the whole person, and it’s to be expressed enthusiastically. So will you use your mouth to access the atmosphere of God today? Praise Him. Do you need an answer? Start praising God! It encourages the miraculous, do you need a miracle? Start praising God! Are you facing the enemy? Use your voice in praise – it wins battles. It drives the devil away! Have you a broken heart, is your spirit wounded? Your praise heals the soul, it calms the troubled spirit. Do you want to get nearer to God? It’s alright talking about getting nearer to God, but the way we enter into His gates is through thanksgiving, and access His courts through praise.
Right now in this moment you ought to praise God. It’s the present-praise. God says in the days of trouble, when it seems like nothing is going right, fear not because He is still in control. When it seems all hope is gone, lift your eyes to the hills from whence comes your help. When you initiate your present-praise, through the Holy Spirit you will be able to withstand the storm because He is there constantly reminding you that God is your present help in times of trouble.
We praise God in these moments because we understand it’s through Him we have life. He is the only reason we are still standing is because God kept you. He said, Lo I am with you always even until the end of the world. When everyone said you wouldn’t, and you’ve made it through, this verse becomes alive to you that is reason enough to praise.
Praise Ye the Lord!
