Trust God’s Word
How I delight in your commands! How I love them! Psalms 119:47
‘Lord give me your unfailing love’, the psalmist cries out as he begins this section of Psalm 119:41. ‘Let your love, God, shape my life’ (v.41a MSG). It ends with a response of love: ‘how I delight in your commands! How I love them! (Verse 47). There is no question as we move towards the end of the year 2020, people of faith have been tested and tried. But, whatever happens, they continue to keep trusting in God’s word. This trust enables us to respond even during the testing with confidence because we know the Lord is our shepherd whom shall we fear.
It may be possible to trust God, because I know He’s faithful and He’s good, and that He’s always with me. I know His character because I trust in His word.
Seek God’s ways through the Bible, and you will discover true freedom and be able to say, ‘I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments’ (Psalm 119:45).
Read the word of God. Lean on God, allow Him full control. Trust IN HIM!
