Come Boldly
We do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses. Hebrews 4:15
Jesus is not distant He is your High Priest, your defender, and your intercessor. Because He stands for you, you can stand firm. No matter what this year brings uncertainty, temptation, fear you are held by the One who has conquered all things on your behalf.
Starting a new year often stirs excitement, but it can also bring anxiety, insecurity, or loneliness. Hebrews 4:15 reminds us that Jesus understands. He doesn’t just empathize with our weaknesses in a theoretical sense; He knows them intimately because He experienced them firsthand. Jesus faced exhaustion, stress, rejection, heartbreak, and every kind of pressure that we face today. You are never alone or misunderstood by Him. He meets you with compassion, not judgment.
On this day Hebrews 4 offers us an invitation: Come boldly to the throne of grace. Not timidly, not afraid but boldly, knowing that God’s throne is not a throne of judgment for His children it is a throne of grace, overflowing with mercy and help. Whatever this year holds, God promises you access to His strength, comfort, and guidance.
Prayer for today: Lord, thank You that I can come boldly to You. I bring my needs, my hopes, and my entire year before Your throne of grace. I trust in Your mercy and Your perfect timing. Help me to lean on You with confidence, knowing You are always there to offer strength and help. Jesus, thank You for understanding my struggles. Help me turn to You with honesty and trust, knowing that You are always ready to help. Amen.
