Merry Christmas 2025
The LORD says, “Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient times.” Micah 5:2
On the first Christmas night, God chose an unexpected audience to receive heaven’s announcement. Not kings or priests, but ordinary shepherds working, watching, and waiting in the fields. Through the angels’ message, God revealed something powerful: the birth of the promised King was good news for all people.
Jesus’ arrival fulfilled promises spoken centuries before. This King did not come with earthly power or riches, but with peace, mercy, and hope. Wrapped in humility, His birth declared that no one is too small, too ordinary, or too far away to receive God’s love.
As we celebrate Christmas morning, Advent reminds us that we are invited to listen again to hear God’s message with fresh hearts. The same joy announced to the shepherds is meant to shape our lives today and overflow to those around us. We are not only receivers of this good news; we are called to share it.
May this Christmas renew our wonder, deepen our peace, and strengthen our desire to reflect Christ’s love to the world.
Prayer for today: Lord, thank You for sending Your Son to bring peace and hope. Open my ears and heart to Your message, and help me share Your joy with those around me. Amen.
