The Beauty of God’s People
The godly people in the land are my true heroes I take pleasure in them! Psalm 16:3
Due to the psalmist relationship with the Lord, there is a relationship with those of like mind. The psalmist finds joy in the company of others who love and serve the Lord. The word “saints” identifies those who are set apart unto the Lord. These are not a special class of extra-righteous people, but all who are saved by grace through faith.
God places godly people in our lives as a source of encouragement and inspiration. We are not meant to walk this faith journey alone; God brings people into our lives to lift us up, challenge us, and celebrate God’s goodness together.
Who are the godly people in your life? Are you giving thanks for them today?
Prayer for today: God, thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life. Help me to be a source of encouragement and support to others, just as they have been to me. May our fellowship continue to glorify You. Amen.
