Weakness Is Not a Problem
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul begged God to take away his weakness, but God said, “No—My power works best there.” God assures us, like He said to Paul—His grace is sufficient for us. Our weakness provides him with a pathway to work, God never sees our weakness as a problem. When we surrender to Him, soak up the grace that He offers, and rest in Him, then we are able to experience His power. His grace is sufficient for us, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.
Our weaknesses create space for God’s power. They remind us we need Him, and that’s a good place to be. I don’t know where this post finds you today, but I want you to know that the God of the Bible promises His faithfulness. Don’t despise your struggle—it might be the exact place God plans to work through.
This week hold onto this thought – weakness is a pathway, not a problem.
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, help me to stop hiding my weakness. Use it to show Your strength in my life. Let others see You, not just me. Amen.
