The Fruit of Unfailing Love
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
God’s love is constant; unshakable, unchanging, and utterly dependable. It is not based on our performance, appearance, or perfection. It is a deep, personal affection that see you where you are and yet still He calls to you saying “Come here my child,” and loving rescues us.
This kind of love invites us into intimacy with God, a closeness that is both meaningful and satisfying. It nourishes our soul and strengthens our spirit. And when we begin to live under the umbrella of His love, something beautiful begins to grow within us. Galatians 5 refers to it as the Fruits of the Spirit, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, longsuffering, and hope. It’s like a tree bursting with life and flavor, the result of being rooted in His faithfulness.
Life will still bring valleys and storms, but God’s love carries us through it all. His love sustains, uplifts, and steadies us even when everything else feels uncertain. Stick with God through it all, and you wont fail. Stay on His path and you’ll taste the fruit of His love in every season.
Prayer for today: Dear God, thank you for loving us. Keep us on Your path and let us enjoy the fruit of Your Spirit now and throughout eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
