The Peace of God Day 4
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Romans 5:1
The beauty of God’s love is this: He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. Through Jesus, we are declared righteous. No matter how far we’ve run or how deeply we’ve fallen, the cross speaks louder than our guilt and shame. Once we accept this truth, we can begin to receive God’s peace.
Jesus took the penalty for our sins, wiped the slate clean, and opened the door for us to stand before God unashamed. To be declared righteous means that we are no longer judged by our sins but are seen through the perfect righteousness of Christ. Forgiven, set free, and redeemed, we now walk in the favor of God. And what does that bring us? Peace.
Peace that whispers, “You don’t have to hide anymore.” Peace that declares, “You are loved and accepted.” Peace that gives us the courage to face life, knowing that the One who forgives us also holds us close.
Today as you meditate on His Word, think about being accepted, forgiven, and loved by God. Take a moment to write down areas in your life where you need to experience God’s peace. Reflect on Romans 5:1 and declare His peace over those situations today.
Prayer for today: Lord, I thank You for the peace that comes from being justified by faith in Jesus Christ. Thank You for lifting the weight of guilt and shame from my shoulders. I stand before You, not condemned, but forgiven and free. Help me to embrace this truth daily, to walk boldly in the peace You have given me, and to share this freedom with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
