The Gift That Never Fades
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
As Christmas approaches, we celebrate the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ. Unlike material gifts that fade or break, Jesus’ love and salvation are eternal. His birth wasn’t just an event; it was God’s way of stepping into our brokenness to offer hope and restoration.
This Christmas, pause to reflect on the significance of this gift. Have you fully embraced the peace and joy that comes through Christ? Beyond the celebrations and decorations, let your heart be filled with gratitude for the Savior who came for you.
Today, tomorrow, anytime this week just take a moment to share the gift of Jesus with someone this week. Whether through a kind word, a prayer, or an invitation to a Christmas service, let others know about the hope found in Him.
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Help me to live in gratitude and share His love with those around me. May this season be a reminder of the hope and joy we have in Christ. Amen.
