Victory in Surrender
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6
Victory isn’t achieved by our own strength or determination; it’s by the power of God’s Spirit working within us. The Scripture says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6
When we rely solely on our abilities, we quickly find ourselves exhausted, frustrated, and defeated. But when we surrender to the Spirit’s leading, He empowers us to overcome challenges and walk in victory.
Surrender is not weakness—it’s a declaration of trust in God’s strength. It’s choosing to say, “Lord, I can’t do this on my own, but I know You can.” As we lean on Him, we begin to see His power at work, transforming situations and giving us the courage to face what’s ahead.
Today, reflect on an area in your life where you’ve been striving in your own strength. Pray and release that burden to the Lord, inviting the Holy Spirit to take control. Trust Him to lead you to victory.
Prayer for today: Lord, I acknowledge that I can’t win life’s battles in my own strength. I surrender to Your Spirit and ask You to guide me. Help me to trust in Your power and not rely on my own. Thank You for the victory that comes through surrender. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
