Spiritual Armor: Feet Fitted with the Gospel of Peace 🕊️
…with your fee fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:15Â
Ephesians 6:15 says  “…with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.” In this verse, Paul instructs us to have our feet “fitted with the readiness” that comes from the gospel of peace. When a soldier prepared for battle, they would wear strong, protective shoes that allowed them to stand firm, move confidently, and endure tough terrain. For us, these “shoes” represent a heart that’s prepared and strengthened by the peace of God. When our feet are fitted with the peace of the gospel, we’re equipped to walk confidently wherever God leads us, knowing that His peace goes with us.
The peace we receive through the gospel isn’t just the absence of conflict; it’s the deep assurance of God’s presence, love, and guidance. As we let God direct our paths, we find that He often leads us into places that allow us to experience His love and to share it with others. His peace keeps us grounded when life gets chaotic and helps us bring His love and comfort into the lives of those around us.
Are you feeling unsure about where God is leading you today? Remember that His peace is with you. He won’t take you somewhere without equipping you with everything you need to stand firm in His love. Trust in the peace He’s given you through Jesus, and let it be your foundation as you take each step.
Prayer for today: Lord, thank You for the peace that comes from the gospel. Help me to walk in that peace today, trusting You to guide me and ground me. Lead my steps, and let Your love and peace flow through me to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
