His Presence Is With Us Always
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26
Jesus promised us that the Holy Spirit would be with us always, to teach us, guide us, and bring His words to life in our hearts. We often get so caught up in the busyness of life, consumed by distractions and noise, that we forget how accessible God’s presence truly is. But just as the song “Holy Spirit” by Francesca Battistelli says, “Holy Spirit, You are welcome here,” we must remind ourselves that the Holy Spirit is eager to enter the spaces we invite Him into.
In moments of worship, whether we’re singing or sitting in stillness, it’s important to consciously invite God’s presence.
His Spirit comes not because of fancy words or perfect performances, but because of a sincere and humble heart that longs for Him. He delights in meeting us right where we are—whether we’re full of joy or weighed down by the troubles of the world.
As we invite the Holy Spirit, we also open ourselves to being transformed. The Spirit works in us to bring peace where there is unrest, to give guidance where there is uncertainty, and to lead us closer to God’s heart. Every time we ask the Holy Spirit to enter into our day we are making space for God to do what only He can do—fill us, renew us, and guide us.
Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, In every moment, let us be aware of Your presence and the work You are doing within us. Transform our hearts to be more like Jesus, and guide us in every step we take. Thank You for always being near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
