Singing In Christ Alone
Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to hill. Psalm 95:1-2
“In Christ Alone” is a modern hymn written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend that powerfully declares the sufficiency of Christ in our lives. The lyrics, “In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song,” emphasize that our hope, strength, and identity are found solely in Jesus.
Singing this hymn reminds us of the centrality of Christ in our faith. It encourages us to rely fully on Him, knowing that He is our firm foundation and the source of our salvation.
Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, thank You for being our hope and our strength. As we sing “In Christ Alone,” help us to center our lives on You and to find our identity and purpose in Your love. Strengthen our faith and fill us with the assurance of Your presence. In Your name, Amen.
