Mother’s Love and Sacrifice
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Proverbs 31:25-27
Mother’s Day is a special time to honor and reflect on the profound influence that mothers have in our lives. Their unique blend of love, sacrifice, and strength often serves as a tangible representation of God’s love for us. Today, let’s celebrate and give thanks for all mothers—biological, adoptive, spiritual, and those who have stepped into mothering roles in any capacity.
A Mother’s Love
In the quiet heart of every day,
Through the noise and the fray,
Stands a figure both stern and tender,
With a love so deep, so warm, and splendor.
Her hands, though wrinkled, soft, and sure,
Guide with a touch so pure.
Her words, a balm that heals the scars,
Her laughter, light like the twinkling stars.
She’s the whisper in the bustling wind,
The courage when we’re pinned.
She’s the architect of our dearest dreams,
The fortress at the seams.
On this day, we sing her name,
For a mother’s love—a ceaseless flame.
Here’s to you, our guiding light,
In every hug, and kiss goodnight.
Thank you, Mom, for the love you’ve shown,
For the kindness and strength you’ve always known.
On this Mother’s Day, here’s my vow,
To honor you, then, now, and forever—somehow.
Happy Mother’s Day!
