He is On Time

I wait patiently before God, for my victory comes from Him. Psalm 62:1

Do you know God to be an on-time God? No, I am not asking about what others say about Him, I am asking if you’ve experienced firsthand the delivering power of God? If you have not, I encourage you to keep seeking God, and for those who have I encourage you to share your testimony so that others can receive hope to keep going.

There are times when we must wait for our prayers to be answered.  There are seasons in life when God seems silent, and we are left to think God will not come through for us. We find ourselves asking “God, where are you?” “God, do you even care?” “God, can you hear me?” we find ourselves asking. Then suddenly the atmosphere begins to shift, and God shows up just in time.

I have had a few of these prayers on my mind lately as I am in a season of waiting. I often like to reflect on the times that God did show up to remind myself, ‘won’t He do it again’. In these moments I am reminded that God hears our small prayers, often whispered in our hearts maybe even without words. He truly cares for us and knows our needs no matter what they are. It might be a prayer for someone we love or for our own needs. But God’s timing is perfect. He is never too late. He always comes just in time.

If you find yourself feeling this way today, I encourage you to hold and keep waiting patiently. God hears you and victory will come, just at the right time.

Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, thank You for being an on time God. Help me to wait in this season of life understanding that my time is not always Your time, and my emergency is not Your emergency. Help me to lean on Your strength and receive peace while I wait. Amen
