He Is Not Here
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Matthew 28:6
“He is not here; He has risen!” This proclamation echoes through the ages as one of the most hopeful statements in all of God’s Word. It serves as a beacon of light, reminding us that no matter what trials we face, there is hope beyond the grave. The uncertainties, doubts, and fears of life cannot diminish the power of an empty tomb. Often, we go through life unaware of the immense power available to us, like half-charged phones oblivious to the power source within reach. The resurrection of Jesus provides us with that power, enabling us to proclaim freedom to a world enslaved by sin.
As we continue in a spirit of thanksgiving, my prayer for you is that you experience a fresh revelation of the profound impact of the Gospel. This message has endured the tests of time, remaining steadfast amidst scrutiny and debate. It has not diminished; rather, it remains as alive and vibrant today as it was on the morning when the tomb was found empty. Acknowledging the empty tomb compels us to respond. Its power cannot be contained or kept silent—it must be shared!
Let us pray 🙏
Prayer for today: Gracious God, we thank You for the hope we find in the resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. As we reflect on the empty tomb, may we be filled with renewed passion to share the life-changing message of the Gospel with others. Grant us boldness and wisdom to proclaim Your truth, that all may come to experience the freedom and joy found in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
