The Lords Delivering Presence
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18
As we navigate the complexities of life, we may encounter situations that leave us feeling crushed, burdened, or overwhelmed. Yet, in the midst of our pain, we can find solace in the understanding that our God is not a distant spectator but an intimate presence. He draws near to us with compassion, tenderness, and a heart full of love.
Consider taking a moment each day of this Advent season to meditate on Psalm 34:18 and 19. Let it be a source of strength, encouragement, and a reminder that, regardless of our circumstances, we serve a God who draws near to us. In the midst of brokenness, His love brings healing, and His presence brings hope.
I want you to allow God to come close to you today I don’t know what’s breaking your heart I don’t know what’s crushing your spirit, but whatever it is today I want you to write them down and in prayer release them to the God who is close to you in this very moment and watch as he delivers you from them all I’m praying God’s best for you today.
Prayer for today: Dear Lord, we thank you for your promise that you are close to the brokenhearted. In this Advent season, as we prepare to celebrate the birth of your Son, help us to recognize your nearness in times of struggle. May your comforting presence fill us with hope, and may we share that hope with others. Amen.
