Finding Rest Through God’s Peace
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. Psalm 62:1

We are constantly bombarded with responsibilities, expectations, and the fast-paced rhythm of modern living and rest just doesn’t add to the equation. Yet, during this whirlwind, there is available to the believer an oasis of rest to be found in our unwavering faith in God. Today, we delve into the concept of resting in God’s peace, drawing strength from His promises, and embracing the serenity that only He can provide.
Yes, it is true our days are often filled with noise, demands, and distractions that leave us feeling weary and spiritually drained., however there is also stillness, there is peace found in the Word of God. In Psalm 62:1, we discover a profound truth: our ultimate rest is found in the presence of God.
David, the author of this psalm, encourages us to “wait quietly before God.” Let us ask the Holy Spirit to help experience this peace as we wait on the God. When we spend time in God’s presence, we experience a unique kind of rest—an inner rest that soothes our weary souls and speaks peace to our mind.
