You Are On an Assignment
You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. Exodus 50:20
You are on an assignment. Chosen by God for a mission. That which once threatened to overwhelm and discourage you can unexpectedly become the catalyst that draws you closer to God and is ultimately employed by Him. As you stand in your current position, perhaps you can glance back and witness firsthand how the most arduous moments of your life led you to a higher and more meaningful purpose. And if you can discern this truth within your past trials, it may transform your present hardships from mere sources of misery into assigned missions with divine intention.
Others need to see God’s grace in action. They need to see what living in faith really looks like. They need to see the hard stuff in real life, met with the mercy of a real God. They need to see what it looks like to go through what you’ve gone through, and receive God’s healing and joy once again. They need to see it, and you’re the one God wants to use to show them.
This is your assignment.
The question is – are you up for the task? What is your assignment? Are you available to be used by God so that someone else can see Him working through you and receive strength? How are you using what you have going through, or are still going through, to fulfill your calling and walk in your divine purpose?
Prayer for today: Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and strength. It brings me help and comfort. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness. It brings me stability and strength. With Your strength I know that I am capable of making it through. Amen
