Celebrating Mothers     

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Ruth 1:16

Mothers, what a blessing to all humankind! Can you ever thank mothers adequately for their timeless work and love? Those of us who are Mother’s (by birth or through actions) should also know the difference that we too will make one day in the life of someone else.

Parenting is both a tremendous blessing and also an incredible challenge! But God’s word offers hope that we are still responsible for training them up in the ways of God. This hope reminds us that even if your children are not at their best in the current they will eventually come around.

God bless all the Naomi’s who do their very best in raising us all. May God continue to be at the center of your life and guide you every step of the way.

Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, it’s impossible to say thank You enough for mothers and what they mean to us. God it was You who created families with a unique place for the love and care that only a ‘mother’ can provide. However, we can only do the job You’ve called us to with the help of Your strength. Bless mothers today with the grace of Your presence, and the honor they deserve for their tireless work and love. Fill us with Your peace and mercy. Grant forgiveness for mistakes, for we all make them. But let love cover all our memories with a blanket of compassion and joy. Show them how they are making a difference just by loving their child unconditionally. Reward each mom with Your faithful blessing and encourage her today and every day. Thank You, God, for our mothers.
