Unlimited Riches, Part II
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Philippians 4:19 is a promise that God will never forsake those who seek Him. He will provide for our financial, physical, and spiritual needs. One special meaning in this verse also has to do with God remaining true to His promises. The Israelites were in bondage, they were slaves held captive by a cruel ruler – they had a need and God sent them Moses. In delivering His chosen people as they crossed over the Red Sea God was supplying for their needs.
Following this freedom, it was now time to cross over into the Promised Land – they had a need and God sent them Joshua. Anytime there is, a deep need God sends a servant to deliver His people from captivity into freedom.
Today I write to remind you that He is not just God, G-O-D, He is your father, and it doesn’t matter where you have been, what you have been through, or what you are going through, He is your Father, and He cares for you.
If you are currently experiencing a very hard problem and in a difficult situation just know that God is the answer. Do you feel lost of hope, fear, weary and discouraged? I would like to encourage you to not forget something important and wonderful: “God never let us down” Slowly but sure God shows His way to solve our problems. G
Pray and take refuge in the shadow of His wings as psalm said: “Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.” (Psalm 57:1)
