Now Faith
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
When you’re in the middle of a crisis, what you really believe ‘now’, in that moment, really matters. Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is…” not faith was, or faith can be, or faith should be, no! It’s the now faith that will take you through the moment.
As believers, the Bible tells us not to “look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen (2 Corinthians 4:18). “Now” faith stakes its claim on “something…even if we do not see it” (Hebrews 11:1). Paul says, “We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). The solution you are looking for will not come as you think it should but keep holding onto hope for the journey you are on is all a part of the process.
Now faith is the substance that we can hold onto because of this declaration we can hold onto the promises and not settle for less. We are called to have faith in God and hope for things that will last for all of eternity.
