Remind me
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26
Each day we must remember that we have a ‘helper’ who walks with us. Jesus when He was leaving this earth promised to leave us with a comforter and a helper. One of the functions of the Holy Spirit is to remind us of the good things God has done and yes, convicts us of our sins but, also remind us that our righteousness that was already brought by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ!
Perhaps the Spirit of God needs to remind you that the Lord has been good to you even more than you are currently giving Him credit for. Remember not to forget who you are and what Christ Jesus has done to redeem you. Here are some scriptures to hold onto this week –
Psalm 103:1-5… “Bless the Lord… and forget not all His benefits.”
Deuteronomy 6:10-12… “be careful lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt.”
Jeremiah 3:21 … “they have forgotten the Lord their God.”
Mark 8:13-21… “So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?”
Luke 22:54-62 …. “And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered…”
When you instruct your soul to hold onto what is good, then you will begin to experience the abundance that God has in store for you.
