Building in 2022

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25

We live in unusual and uncertain times. We do not know what tomorrow will look like, and what we will be allowed to do. Today being able to travel internationally is okay, but tomorrow it is uncertain. How can I, as a follower of Jesus, can best deal with this with these challenges? How do we settle our minds, remaining faithful to God with all the unknowns? Stick to the word of God.

Those who believe the Bible know that a time of tribulation will come, God’s word has already warned us of this and there is nothing we can do about that. Is this the beginning? Whether it is starting now, or will be in the future, I don’t know. God’s word tells us no one knows, only time will tell. So we must not get caught up in this unknown. Instead let us remain firm to saving souls. Sharing the Good News of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There is a dying world out there in search of hope, will you be the light for someone today?

Prayer for today: Father, God of Heaven’s Armies, we are living in challenging times when the enemy has convinced the people of this world that You no longer care and that you are a harsh God.  Many are lost trying to navigate their way through these challenging times. God, I pray that you help those who know You to continue to shine as a beacon of light. Hope to those in search of You.  God, remove the evil influences from their lives that are blocking them from accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, Amen.
