A New Hope
Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:30-31
All of us really want to believe that good can happen, but are afraid to hope for it. As a result, we create a wall and hold back on radical faith to protect ourselves by preparing for worst case scenarios. Refusing to entertain the idea that our situations can improve, our loved ones can change, or that healing can come to those who are suffering. This process creates a level of stress and anxiety, as we are constantly struggling internally with discouragement and mulling over negative thoughts.
To hope in God is to believe in spiritual power. To know the hand of God is ever present in all of our situations. When we hope that God will deliver on His promises, then we can trust that no person or system can get in the way of Him making that happen. Putting our faith in God will never steer us wrong.
Today I invite you to rejoice. Delight yourself in the Lord and remain joyful in Him always. In your journey for renewed hope, practice gratitude. Acknowledge every good thing in your life is from Him and recognize that even if it is not a good thing, God can keep you during the difficult times and there you will find that God’s peace will guard your heart
Whatever you`ll come up against today – remember your God is faithful to all His promises. Trust, believe and hold onto His everlasting arms. `The Lord is loving towards all He has made`. You do not need to worry or fear, but trust in the Lord.
Prayer for today: Thank You, Jesus for your unchanging love, that I can depend on you in all circumstances and can trust your wonderful promises. In Jesus` name. Amen.
