Monday Morning Manna
“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord , which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. Exodus 14:15-14
An English author once said “experience is a good teacher”. In the world we rely on a gut feeling to lead or prompt us. However, in the spirit man does not do as the world does no, the soul is directed by God. For this reason it was so good, spiritually refreshing, to connect with our Pastor and the church remotely this weekend.
Through the Gods chosen vessel Sis. Iyanna Reid-DeGannes, the church was encouraged to keep pushing on. Do not give up but go forward fighting the good fight and look to God. We are being called to run a race and in the end we will receive a prize that is so rewarding. This race is one of faith. Our motivation to run this race is that, we’re not alone, we’re surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses encouraging us on.
We have a promise. Truly many promises are wrapped up in my purpose according to our Champion who is Jesus Christ. He has handed us the victory in all things and with that we have the power to ride out this storm.
See below scriptures shared to help us get through this week:
Exodus 14:10-20 click here to read
“The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” Isaiah 58:11
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” Philippians 4:6
“God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect.” 2 Samuel 22:33
“Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.” Zechariah 9:12
I was once given some wise advice – stay where you are until the Lord moves you on. But when He pushes, get moving!
Prayer for today: Thank you, Lord, that you love us enough to give a little push just when we need it most. Help us Your children to always be listening for your gentle voice so that I can know from you what it is you want me to do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
